With its unique shape, the legendary CH24 Wishbone Chair by Hans J. Wegner has a special place in the world of modern design.
When developing the CH24, Wegner decided to combine the backrest and armrest in one piece. In order to give the steam-bent upper part stability and to ensure a comfortable hold, Wegner developed the characteristic Y-shaped backrest, after which the Wishbone Chair is named.
The Wishbone Chair offers comfort and stability as well as satisfying aesthetic desires for a distinctive, elegant shape. Over time, the Wishbone Chair has gained recognition as the ideal chair and captured the essence of modern Danish design.
