The original: Classicon Adjustable Table E 1027, designed by Eileen Gray 1927, in chrome and clear glass at Grünbeck in Vienna | Among classics, this is arguably THE classic. Its ingeniously proportioned, distinctive form has made this height-adjustable table one of the most popular design icons of the 20th century. It is named after the house E 1027, 'Maison en bord de mer', which Eileen Gray built for herself and her partner Jean Badovici. In this code name, E stands for Eileen, 10 for Jean (J is the 10th letter of the alphabet), 2 for B(adovici), and 7 for G(ray). The licensed original is produced exclusively by Classicon.
Finish: Chrome, crystal glass, clear glass, diameter/height in cm: 52 x 64-102, height adjustable
